Hannah has been Program Director of Legacy PotteryWorks since 2020. She was born and raised in Wichita and started doing pottery in her freshman year of high school – and never looked back!! She studied ceramics at Bethany College (Lindsborg, Kansas) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2017. Despite her formal training in this field and her personal interest in pottery making (she has her own small business where she sells personal pottery and other handmade items), Hannah said she never imagined a career working with teens. “I never thought I would be working with teenagers, but I absolutely love it! It is such an honor to be able to be a part of their lives and watch them learn and grow!” Her passion and influence are evident in the excitement the youth display in their work, and in the beautiful pieces they produce.
