In addition to working part-time as a communications assistant, I am currently an Employment
Specialist for a mental health center & assist adults with career development and supporting their mental health needs in the workplace. I also have a strong background in youth development. I taught in a classroom setting through Jobs for America’s Graduates at USD 259 Heights High School, helping at-risk students overcome barriers to graduation and become college and career-ready. I also worked with Youthville and St. Francis Community Services for 6 years serving youth in the child welfare system. I have been doing photography for over 20 years. I graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sociology with emphasis in child development. I am dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of youth and helping to share their story.
